Richard W. Vomacka Speaker Competition

Initially introduced at the 2001 Annual Conference, the Richard W. Vomacka Student Speaker Competition is named for an NCEMSF mentor who passed away in October 2001. This symposium is a chance for student lecturers to showcase their presentation skills and earn bragging rights for their collegiate EMS organization. The competition is judged on a speaker's ability to deliver a relevant high-quality seminar to their peers.

If you are a student interested in giving a presentation on a campus EMS topic of your choice, please attach a Word Document to an e-mail to vomackaspeaker@ncemsf.org including:

Presentation Synopsis (2 paragraph summary followed by Presentation Outline with each of your sub-topics and descriptions)

Deadline for topic submission is February 1, 2008.

Presentations should be approximately 45 minutes in length. Topics should be relevant to collegiate EMS and have wide audience appeal. Three proposals will be selected from all submissions. Multiple people from an organization may present together.
