Amy Berenbaum, NCEMSF Central Regional Coordinator, is currently a freshman at the University of Pennsylvania. She is pre-med and will most likely major in Biology with a minor in Spanish. She is currently the Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator for the University of Pennsylvania Medical Emergency Response Team. Amy was certified as an EMT-B in Pennsylvania in February 2008 and is in the process of becoming certified in Colorado, where she lives. Previously, Amy has spent time following emergency room doctors, orthopedic surgeons, and correctional facility physicians. Amy hopes to become an orthopedic surgeon with an emphasis on sports medicine..
