Landing Photographs - Page 2
May 23, 2008: Turning onto final approach for runway 9R at Pontiac (Oakland County International) as observed by Kristy from the back seat of Warrior 481. We were stopping in Pontiac during a cross country flight from Le Roy, NY to Kalamazoo, MI in order for my grandparents to meet our 11 month old daughter for the first time.
May 31, 2008: Reuben caught this shot of us lined up on final approach for runway 32 at Steamboat Springs, Colorado (SBS, elevation 6882 feet, 4452 feet long). On the ground, we took a break, planned our next move, paid a ramp fee (much to our annoyance) and met Ted the Airport Cat. Though the ramp fee was not exorbitant, it emptied my wallet of cash and I had to ask Reuben to chip in a couple of bucks.
July 4, 2008: On final approach for Laconia Municipal Airport where Ann and Greg were waiting for us. Our landing at this airport marked our farthest aerial journey east to date. Photo by Kristy. |
