With approximately 15 million students attending U.S. colleges and universities, higher education not only has a responsibility to provide emergency health care for a diverse group of people, but also the unique opportunity to enhance individual and community emergency health status.

By becoming a member of NCEMSF, you can help strengthen and increase the visibility of collegiate EMS among the media, government, and other members of the campus and general community. In addition, numerous resources and professional and personal development opportunities are available to you at a discounted price. NCEMSF members include:

  • Institutional members - representing the diversity of the higher education community - two and four year, public and private, large and small
  • Personal members - first responders, EMTs, Paramedics, safety and health educators, nurses, physicians, administrators, and advisors
  • Corporate / Sustaining members - corporations and nonprofit organizations interested in being more connected with the collegiate EMS field

By working together with NCEMSF to impact the lives of students and campus communities, you have the ability to strengthen citizenship, the learning environment, and the future health of our society.
