As NCEMSF is dedicated to furthering collegiate EMS activities, our memberships operate on the academic year, not the calendar year, to accommodate school schedules. Memberships purchased between June 1, 2007 - May 31, 2008 will be credited to the 2007-2008 academic year.

Membership Benefits:

• Internet services - NCEMSF offers the premier info resource for campus EMS. Most of our resources are available on-line on the NCEMSF Web site Our E-discussion list is available for members interested in interactive e-mail conversations about all aspects of campus EMS. Permanent forwarding e-mail aliases (yourgroup@ncemsf.org) are also available for instututional members.
• Consulting - For newly starting campus EMS organizations and groups wanting to improve their service. Contact the NCEMSF Board at board@ncemsf.org. Check out the NCEMSF archive of various campus EMS Standard Operating Procedures and constitutions and bylaws to use as a guide in creating your own. Also see the alphabetical and state-by-state organization listings, which help identify other campus EMS groups in your region or at similar schools. You can also search our online database of campus EMS schools if you're looking for a school with specific characteristics.
• Certificates - The NCEMSF membership certificate suitable for framing is issued to all instututional members.
• Discounts - Many companies offer discounts to our members such as:
  
  • Common Cents EMS, offers a 10% discount to NCEMSF members (except Laerdal and Ferno products)
  • Emergency Training Associates, offers up to a 26% discount for EMS texts.

• Conferences - The NCEMSF annual conferences include a chance to meet and network with other campus EMS providers, and sessions with topics especially of interest to campus EMS providers and organizations. Nationally known faculty in the EMS and medical fields are scheduled as presenters. See the NCEMSF Conference page for details on past and upcoming conferences.
• Awards - Annual awards recognizing the best in campus EMS providers. Our "Striving for Excellence" self-evaluation program sets the gold standard for campus EMS groups at all levels.
• Outreach - NCEMSF officers are always happy to meet one-on-one with campus EMS providers or school administration. We've done site visits of more than 30 schools in over 17 states.
• Campus EMS Week - Since EMS week sponsored by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) falls outside of the academic year, NCEMSF holds Campus EMS Week, dedicated to recognizing the efforts of college-based EMS providers nationwide. It is held each year in November. Information packets are mailed upon request or are available for download.
• The NCEMSF Newsletter - A quarterly newsletter for and about campus based EMS.
• Campus EMS Directory - The semi-annual "who's who" of campus EMS organizations. Information is collected through our on-line database. Every insitutional member is provided with a free copy of this valuable resource.
