Heads up CPR, half-dose epinephrine, mechanical CPR, stroke ambulances, double defibrillation and more. All billed and promoted by many agencies as the key to their success. But in the age of evidence based medicine and pre-hospital care we must follow what the evidence says. This lecture will highlight the current state of EMS evidence of many major "flashy" topics, and why they may not necessarily be a good thing outside the realm of a sanctioned clinical trial.
