Michael Wiederhold, NCEMSF Treasurer, is a healthcare administrator who has worked at one of the largest healthcare systems and the largest hospital in the United States. He completed his pediatric residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He obtained his MD from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He received his Master of Public Health from Tulane University and his Master of Science in Emergency Health from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He earned his undergraduate degree from Emory University, majoring in psychology. Michael has been involved in collegiate EMS since 1996. While at Emory, he volunteered as an NREMT-I with Emory EMS and served as Vice-President of CPR @ Emory, an organization designed to provide low-cost CPR training to the community. He became involved with NCEMSF in 1998 as Director-at-Large and has served as Treasurer since 2001.
