Matuzsan PictureZach Matuzsan, NCEMSF Education Coordinator, began his EMS career in 2007 as a volunteer EMT with the East Windsor Rescue Squad in New Jersey. He joined the Hopkins Emergency Response Organization in 2008 as a freshman and later served as the Equipment Lieutenant and Operations Lieutenant. He graduated with a degree in Public Health Studies in 2012 and subsequently earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) in May of 2016 from Rowan University's School of Osteopathic Medicine in New Jersey. Zach completed an emergency medicine residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network in June 2020 before finishing an EMS fellowship at Cooper University Hospital in June 2021.  He is currently an attending physician at the Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA and is a core faculty member for the emergency medicine residency program.  Zach serves as an Associate Medical Director for Lehigh's aeromedical MedEvac program and is medical director for Northampton Regional EMS.  He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and EMS/Pre-Hospital Medicine.
