Bruce Graham Jr., NCEMSF’s Northeast Regional Coordinator, graduated from Rowan University in 2015 with his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. Bruce first started his career in EMS by becoming certified as an EMT-Basic in 2006 and continued until he became certified as a Paramedic in 2012. Bruce joined Rowan University EMS in 2013 and was elected into a leadership role as Lieutenant within his first two months of membership. The following year, Bruce was elected as Captain of Rowan University EMS, where he and his fellow line officers designed and implemented a new on-boarding, training, and education program for Rowan University EMS. That same year, his squad earned recognition as a HEARTSafe Campus and an EMS Ready Campus. Bruce now works as a Paramedic for two leading MICU projects in New Jersey (Virtua Health System and AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center), and is an instructor for many disciplines including: American Heart Association BLS CPR, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, AHLS, and CEVO III. Bruce continues his involvement with collegiate EMS in his free time and is currently applying to medical school.
