Gabe Gan, NCEMSF Southeast Regional Coordinator, first became involved in EMS as a high school student in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C. He attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA, where he majored in human health and held various leadership positions as a member of Emory EMS. Gabe received his Master of Public Health degree from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health in 2018, and spent over three years as a healthcare consultant for payers and providers with the PricewaterhouseCoopers Health Industries Advisory practice. He now works for the Office of the Medical Director at the District of Columbia Fire & EMS Department, where he serves as the department’s lead EMS quality improvement analyst and also assists in the structuring and implementation of novel clinical programs and research projects.
