Dear ,
In this NCEMSF Update:
COLLEGIATE EMS WEEK AND CPR DAY: NOVEMBER 13-17
Take advantage of this week-long opportunity, modeled after National EMS Week, to celebrate campus based EMS together with all other collegiate corps. National Collegiate CPR Day will kick off Collegiate EMS Week on Monday, November 13. The goal is to have as many college students as possible educated in the basic principles of CPR on a single day across all of North America. Begin planning now and let NCEMSF know how you mark the week on your campus!
This is also a special milestone for us, as 2023 will mark the 25th occurrence of Collegiate EMS Week.
You can learn more about both of these exciting programs and gain access to resources to help you have a successful EMS Week and CPR Day by visiting the EMS Week and CPR Day pages on our website. Each page also links to an event-specific packet with additional information. Please be sure to share how your organization is celebrating Collegiate EMS Week and CPR Day by tagging NCEMSF in your social media posts and sending photographs and write-ups to emsweek@ncemsf.org.

ANNUAL AWARDS AND SELF-EVALUATIVE PROGRAMS
NCEMSF recognizes outstanding EMS Organizations, Providers, and Advisors through its Annual Awards Program. Awards are offered in a variety of individual and organizational categories. Please see the Annual Awards page of our website for additional details.
NCEMSF also offers three self-evaluative programs designed to highlight Collegiate EMS Organizations who excel in specific areas. Striving for Excellence is designed to recognize groups that meet high standards for organizational development, delivery of care, and service to their campus communities. HEARTSafe Campus drives lifesaving care for sudden cardiac arrest through promotion of CPR education, AEDs, and active campus-based emergency medical response organizations. EMS Ready Campus is bridges EMS with campus emergency management and preparedness. Specific submission details and contact information for questions can be found on each individual program page.
Applications for all awards and programs are due on February 9, 2024. Awards for organizations require that your group have an active Institutional Membership for this academic year.
