Collegiate EMS Week is a week-long recognition of campus based EMS and provides an opportunity for campus based EMS organizations to highlight their activities and educate their communities. This year, EMS Week is November 11-17.

Here is what we are doing to celebrate EMS Week:

Heartsaver CPR and First Aid course

For those who may not have prior healthcare experience or for those who want to just learn First Aid.

Heartsaver CPR November 10: 8:30AM - 12PM
Heartsaver First Aid November 10: 1PM - 4PM

Sidewalk CPR

A simple 2 minute course that can greatly improve the safety of our community. Best of all, the Sidewalk CPR is FREE to learn! 

Location: Around campus and in the Market Cafeteria

Monday 11/11: 2PM - 4PM
Tuesday 11/12: 1PM - 3PM
Wednesday 11/13: 3PM - 5PM
Friday 11/15: 1PM - 3PM

 Controlling Aggressive Responses Effectively (CARE) Certificate Course.

This course teaches healthcare professionals and those who interact with aggressive patients how to deal with the aggression to protect themselves and those in their care.

There are two sessions offered for this course:

CARE November 17: 8AM - noon

CARE November 17: 1PM - 5PM
