Combat Zone Simulation: Mini-Bushmaster at the NCEMSF Conference!

Bushmaster is the capstone learning experience for students at the Uniformed Services University. Held in the woods of central Pennsylvania over the course of five days, students stay in barracks and tents while engaging in medical simulation exercises. These exercises teach students medical teamwork while also helping them learn to lead themselves and one another through increasingly difficult adaptive medical challenges. These challenges require students to administer medical care while dealing with the resource constraints of an austere deployment environment.

We are happy to bring a version of this Bushmaster training to the NCESMF Conference. While with us, you will learn how to triage combat casualties, provide ATLS level care, and understand some of the principles in providing the best medicine possible in a resource constrained setting.
