Presenting and Visualizing EMS Data

Data is central to the operational, business, and public health functions of EMS. Campus EMS squads are frequently asked to present statistics and data from their operations to university and local officials, but often are limited in the tools and training they have to do so. This workshop will provide an introduction to creating effective visuals to present and explore EMS data. Using a powerful data visualization software called Tableau, we will use a sample data set to walk through relevant applications.

*Please bring a laptop computer to this workshop with Tableau downloaded and installed. Tableau is free for students!
