Rescue and Resuscitation of a Drowning Victim

Drowning takes the lives of an estimated 372,000 people each year, many of whom are children. Even more people suffer from the effects of non-fatal drownings. The good news is that all drownings are preventable. This presentation will look at drowning through an ocean lifeguard and public health perspective.
