Stephen J Lanieri

Stephen Lanieri, NCEMSF National Coordinator, graduated from Daniel Webster College in 2008 with a BS in Aviation Management. As a freshman, he founded a student-run and state-licensed campus EMS service where he was Chief for all 4 years. Steve began in EMS at16 as a cadet on the Branchburg Rescue Squad in NJ and became an EMT at 17. He has become certified in Swiftwater Rescue, Vehicle Extrication, and Airplane/Helicopter Rescue, and served as a Lieutenant of the rescue squad. Steve started his full-time career as a Communication Specialist/EMT with Boston MedFlight. He has also worked at some of the busiest airports throughout the Northeast US, managing airport operations, security, and emergency response/preparedness, which he continues doing at his current role at a major NYC-area international airport. Steve has been a national ski patroller at Pats Peak Ski Area in Henniker, NH and is an annual medical tent deputy leader at the Boston Marathon. He continues to volunteer as an EMT and firefighter on local departments, and a member of his county EMS Bureau. Steve previously served as NCEMSF's Northern New England Regional Coordinator.
