Zach Matuzsan, NCEMSF Educational Programs Coordinator, began his EMS career in 2007 as a volunteer EMT with the East Windsor Rescue Squad District II in New Jersey. In 2008, as a freshman at Johns Hopkins University, he joined the Hopkins Emergency Response Organization. Zach served as the Equipment Lieutenant in 2010 and as the Operations Lieutenant in 2011. He graduated with a degree in Public Health Studies in 2012 and subsequently earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) in May of 2016 from Rowan University's School of Osteopathic Medicine (formerly UMDNJ-SOM) in Stratford, New Jersey. He is currently a chief emergency medicine resident at the Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA and will be starting an EMS fellowship at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ in July 2020. Prior to his current role with NCEMSF, Zach was the Mid-Atlantic Regional Coordinator.
