Dear ,
We are excited to see that so many campus EMS providers have already registered and booked their rooms at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown Hotel!
As a result of the high attendance, the NCEMSF room block at the Wyndham has hovered at capacity for the last number of days. We are adding additional rooms to our block as we are able, so please continue to check the Conference 2025 Host Facility page to see if rooms at the Wyndham remain available at the conference rate. If you have not yet secured lodging for the weekend, please make plans to address this as soon as possible.
In addition, we wanted to remind you of the following upcoming deadlines and Conference offerings:
1) PRE-CONFERENCE CLASS AND TOUR REGISTRATION NOW AVAILABLE
Registration for pre-conference classes and tours is now available. We are pleased to offer two courses (including additional CE credit) and two local area tours, all taking place on Friday afternoon. Separate registration and fees apply, and you must be registered for the main Conference prior to signing up for pre-conference offerings. See our website for more details.
2) NCEMSF BEST PRACTICE 2025
Do you have an ideal model or successful initiative, unique to your EMS organization, that is worthy of imitation? Showcase your best practice at the 32nd Annual NCEMSF Conference. Each submission will also be considered for presentation during the "Shark Tank Experience" session. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Submissions will be accepted until February 10. Learn more and submit online.
3) VOMACKA STUDENT SPEAKER COMPETITION DEADLINE — JANUARY 31
The Richard W. Vomacka Student Speaker Competition, named for an early NCEMSF mentor, is a symposium offering a chance for current student providers to present and teach their fellow peers about a topic highly relevant to the delivery of campus-based EMS. The competition is judged on the quality of the speaker's submission as well as the presentation itself. Specific submission criteria may be found on our website.
4) AWARDS PROGRAM / MERIT RECOGNITION PROGRAM / HEARTSAFE CAMPUS / EMS READY CAMPUS APPLICATION DEADLINE -- FEBRUARY 7
Annual NCEMSF awards are available for Collegiate EMS Provider, Collegiate EMS Advisor, Collegiate EMS Organization, Collegiate EMS Outreach Program, and Collegiate EMS Video of the Year. Consult the Annual Awards page of our website for submission criteria. Nominations should consist of a formal nominating letter and all applicable supporting documentation/corroborating references. Additionally, the MERIT Recognition Program, Striving for Excellence, HEARTSafe Campus, and EMS Ready Campus applications are also due on February 7. Remember that to be eligible for any organizational awards, a group must be a current dues-paying Institutional Member of NCEMSF. Membership information is available on the website.
5) REGULAR REGISTRATION ENDS ON FEBRUARY 14
Join the near 1000 members from 70+ schools already registered to attend the 32nd Annual Conference. Conference fees and payment policies are detailed on the Conference website - please read these policies carefully before registering.
