Dear ,
THE DEADLINE TO SECURE A HOTEL ROOM AT THE DISCOUNTED CONFERENCE RATE IS THIS FRIDAY, JANUARY 16!
Conference registration fees do not include lodging. Conference attendees are strongly encouraged to stay at the host facility, the DoubleTree by Hilton Washington, DC-Crystal City Hotel, in order to gain the most from the Conference experience. Check the Conference 2026 Host Facility page for information on booking your hotel room. The Conference rate of $169 per night (plus taxes) is guaranteed only through Friday pending availability, after which market rate will prevail! Please contact confinfo@ncemsf.org if you experience any difficulty reserving a room for the Conference. Specifically, please reach out before booking at any alternative hotel.
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION:
Join the many others already registered to attend the 33nd Annual Conference in Arlington, February 20-22. As a reminder, the only way to register for the conference is online. Conference fees and payment policies are detailed on the conference website - please read these policies carefully before registering. The deadline to request refunds for individual registrations paid via credit card, check, or PO is also next week Friday, January 16. Regular registration ends February 13.Â
NCEMSF AWARDS:
NCEMSF's awards and self-evaluative programs allow you to highlight your squad's achievements and recognize outstanding providers and advisors. Packets for the three self-evaluative programs (NCEMSF MERIT Recognition Program, EMS Ready Campus, and HEARTSafe Campus) should all be submitted via email as per the directions on each program's page; please also ensure that your squad's Institutional Dues are paid to be eligible for review. Nominations for Individual Awards will be accepted online from anyone (no website account required). Organizational Awards must be submitted online using your squad's Institutional Website account (and also requires that your squad's Institutional Dues be paid prior to submission). NCEMSF is also pleased to continue the NCEMSF Best Practice session at our 2026 Conference; interested applicants can learn more online. The deadline for all awards and self-evaluative programs is Friday, January 30th. As a reminder, the Striving for Excellence in Campus EMS program was retired after the 2025 Conference and replaced by the MERIT Recognition Program.Â
ADDITIONAL DEADLINES:
This Friday, January 16, is also the deadline for the Conference Scholarship Program/New Group Initiative, the JCEMS Academic Poster Session, and the Vomacka Student Speaker Competition. Please be sure to submit promptly, as reviews for all three will take place shortly after the deadline.Â
The Stryker EMS Skills Classic continues to accept team pre-registrations at the $10 early rate through Friday, January 30, after which pre-registration will rise to $15 per team. All pre-registrations should be submitted via your squad's Institutional Website Account, and each school is limited to one team each in the BLS and ALS tracks. Should additional capacity remain, squads can sign up additional teams per track on-site.Â
CONFERENCE PROGRAMMING:
The review of submitted Conference abstracts is underway and a schedule will be posted in February. We are looking forward to being able to offer higher capacity lectures at this year's Conference, allowing more interested attendees to attend presentations from our engaging and well-respected presenters.
In addition, registration for Pre-Conference Workshops and Tours (taking place on the afternoon of Friday, February 20) is available for those already registered for the main Conference. The currently available Pre-Conference activities are:
