We continue to plan for an exciting educational conference experience in Arlington, February 20-22. Rooms remain available at the DoubleTree by Hilton Crystal City-Washington, DC Hotel for the 33rd Annual Conference, and several other deadlines are also coming up in the next two weeks.
1) HOTEL ROOMS REMAIN AVAILABLE -- REDUCED RATE EXTENDED THROUGH JANUARY 30
The hotel reduced conference rate of $169 per night plus applicable taxes and fees will be honored now through January 30th, pending availability!
Conference registration fees do not include lodging. Check the Conference 2026 Host Facility page for information on booking your hotel room and reserve your room today.
In the event that the hotel's online booking tool says no rooms are available, please email confinfo@ncemsf.org before booking elsewhere or via a third-party site so we can assist. Conference attendees are strongly encouraged to stay at the host facility.
2) AWARDS PROGRAM / MERIT RECOGNITION PROGRAM / HEARTSAFE CAMPUS / EMS READY CAMPUS / NCEMSF BEST PRACTICE -- APPLICATION DEADLINE JANUARY 30
Annual NCEMSF awards are available for Collegiate EMS Provider, Collegiate EMS Advisor, Collegiate EMS Organization, Collegiate EMS Outreach Program, and Collegiate EMS Video of the Year. Consult the Annual Awards page of our website for submission criteria. Awards for Provider and Advisor may be submitted via the applicable online form by any nominator, however awards for the squad/organization must be submitted using the group's Institutional website account (and submitting groups must have paid their annual Institutional dues of $25). Additionally, the MERIT Recognition Program, HEARTSafe Campus, EMS Ready Campus, and NCEMSF Best Practice applications are also due on the 30th. Remember that to be eligible for any organizational awards, a group must be a current dues-paying Institutional Member of NCEMSF. Membership information is available on the website.
3) STRYKER EMS SKILLS CLASSIC -- EARLY RATE DEADLINE JANUARY 30
All attending squads are encouraged to participate in the fun-filled Stryker EMS Skills Classic - both BLS and ALS tracks are available. The early pre-registration price of $10/team (payable via credit card using your squad's Institutional website account) is available through Friday, January 30. After that time, rates rise to $15 per team through February 13. On-site registration will be available if capacity remains, and will be at the rate of $20 per team, so be sure to pre-register now! To ensure broad participation, each school is currently allowed a single team in each of the BLS and ALS tracks, but should additional space remain, schools can enter additional teams per track during on-site registration. For more information, please check out the Stryker EMS Skills Classic page on our website and check out this short video which provides an overview of the Skills Classic, talks about registration options, and provides information on what to expect on the day of the event.
4) JCEMS ACADEMIC POSTER SESSION -- DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JANUARY 30
NCEMSF's journal, the Journal of Collegiate Emergency Medical Services (JCEMS), continues to promote and highlight research in Collegiate EMS through its annual JCEMS Academic Poster Session. We are still soliciting poster abstracts -- see the information on the NCEMSF website and submit online through our speaker portal before January 30. Authors will be notified directly of acceptance shortly thereafter.
5) REGULAR REGISTRATION ENDS ON FEBRUARY 13
Join the nearly 1,000 members from over 75 schools already registered to attend the 33rd Annual Conference. Conference fees and payment policies are detailed on the Conference website - please read these policies carefully before registering. Regular registration at the rate of $135 per person/token is available through February 13. After that, rates rise to $150 per person or token.
6) PRECONFERENCE WORKSHOPS AND CONFERENCE PROGRAM
For those arriving early, we are offering several Friday early afternoon Pre-Conference Workshops. Current offerings include a tour of the DC Fire Department Fireboat Unit, a tour of the US Capitol Police Aviation Division, a tour of an Arlington County Fire Department station, and a tour and educational event at the George Washington School of Medicine CLASS Simulation Center. Separate registration and an additional fee is required for all workshops; additional CE credit is also available for attendees of the GW CLASS Center Tour. Don't miss these unique opportunities and pre-register online after registering for the main conference.
A draft conference program will be posted online by February 1st.
