NCEMSF

Dear ,

The 33rd Annual NCEMSF Conference is just over three weeks away! Join the over 1000 campus EMS providers already slated to attend the conference in Arlington, February 20-22. As a reminder, the only way to register for the conference is online. Conference fees and payment policies are detailed on the conference website - please read these policies carefully before registering. REGULAR REGISTRATION ENDS FEBRUARY 13!

UPDATE ON HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS

Our room block at the host hotel, the DoubleTree, has hovered near or at capacity for the last several days. If you have not yet secured your room, please first check the DoubleTree using the link on our Conference website to see if rooms remain available at the NCEMSF rate. If the DoubleTree shows no availability or if current room inventory exceeds your needs and/or budget, please complete our overflow block interest form and we will assist you in finding a nearby room at a comparable rate. We encourage you not to book outside of NCEMSF and to let us help you obtain lodging. Ideally, all attendees will stay at, or very near, the host facility to gain the most from the Conference experience. If you have any lodging questions or issues, please email confinfo@ncemsf.org

STRYKER EMS SKILLS CLASSIC

Register today to compete in the Stryker EMS Skills Classic, which takes place Friday evening upon arrival in Arlington. Show off your squad's skills. Pre-register and pay online now via credit card before the rates increase January 30! On-site sign-up will be available only as space permits. We would love for every squad in attendance to participate in the Stryker Skills Classic.

Is your squad considering competing in this year's Stryker Skills Classic, but doesn't know what to expect? Are you a first time attendee and unsure what you have signed up for? Or are you a returning squad that would like to know a little bit more before you compete? View this short video to orient you to the event and to help answer questions about signing up and what to expect when you arrive. You can also visit the competition page for more information.

PRECONFERENCE WORKSHOPS

Arriving early on Friday? Consider also registering for a pre-conference workshop or tour on Friday, February 20. This year, we are offering four sessions: DC Fireboat Station Tour, US Park Police Aviation Division TourArlington County Fire Department Station Tour, and GW CLASS Simulation Center Tour. All pre-conference sessions are space limited and require pre-registration, but we are waiving the fee - that's right, these extra experiences are free this year! The GW CLASS Simulation Center activity also includes additional CE credit. You must already be registered for the main Conference before you can register for a pre-conference session. We ask that if you sign up, you commit to attending.

More Conference information is available online and will be updated continuously as the Conference nears.

See you in Arlington!
