Kris Kurtz

Kris Kurtz, NCEMSF North Central Regional Coordinator, is a 2023 graduate of St. Olaf College with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. At St. Olaf, he began his collegiate EMS journey with the St. Olaf EMT Service, going on to serve as Vice President and President of the organization. Following graduation, Kris moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he worked as an AEMT and EMD with Albuquerque Ambulance. He has also been a national ski patroller at Hyland Hills and Sandia Peak Ski Areas. Starting Fall 2026, Kris will be attending the University of Northern Colorado College of Osteopathic Medicine, and has clinical interests in Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the Southwest landscape and officiating football.
