Stephen Lanieri, NCEMSF National Coordinator, graduated from Daniel Webster College in 2008 with a BS in Aviation Management. As a freshman, he founded DWC EMS, a student-run state-licensed EMS service. Steve held the position of Chief/President all 4 years. Steve began his EMS career at 16, volunteering as a cadet on the Branchburg Rescue Squad in his hometown in NJ, and later became an EMT-B. He has become certified in Swiftwater Rescue, Vehicle Extrication, Airplane/Helicopter Rescue, and many levels of ICS, and continues to serve as a Life Member of the volunteer rescue squad. Steve has also been a National Ski Patroller since 2004 at Pats Peak Ski Area in Henniker, NH. Steve has worked as a Communication Specialist/EMT with Boston MedFlight, and at Boston Logan International Airport's Operations Center where he managed logistics for airport operations, security, and emergency responses with Airport Fire/Rescue. In his current role, he is a manager of airport operations, maintenance, and emergency response/preparedness in the field. He previously served as NCEMSF's Northern New England Regional Coordinator.
