Joseph Grover, NCEMSF Startup Coordinator, is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina Department of Emergency Medicine, EMS Fellowship Program Director, and Chief Medical Officer of Orange County (NC) Emergency Services. He completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of Virginia in 2014, and an EMS fellowship at the University of North Carolina in 2016. He earned his Bachelor’s degree and MD from Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) where he co-founded Case Western Reserve University EMS as an undergraduate. Starting in high school, he served as a volunteer with the Kensington Volunteer Fire Department (KVFD), where he attained life membership. Prior to his current position as startup coordinator, he served for 8 years as the Midwest RC with NCEMSF.
