ian feldmanIan Feldman, NCEMSF Webmaster, started his EMS career at Rice University in 2006. He served as an EMS Supervisor and officer during his time at Rice. After graduating in 2009 with a degree in mathematics, he remained active with Rice EMS assisting with administrative tasks and later becoming an EMS Instructor. Outside of collegiate EMS, he works as a Staff Analyst with the City of Houston, where he serves as assistant program manager for a DHS-supported initiative to assist law enforcement agencies in the Houston region with the detection and interdiction of radiological and nuclear materials. He also works as an In-Charge Paramedic and dispatcher at Harris County Emergency Corps, he volunteers with the Northwest Volunteer Fire Department, and is an AHA instructor with the Baylor College of Medicine. He received a Master of Science in Threat and Response Management from the University of Chicago in 2011 and holds a Certified Emergency Manager® designation from the International Association of Emergency Managers. He served as NCEMSF's Central Regional Coordinator from 2012 to 2017.
