Ian Feldman, NCEMSF Webmaster, started his EMS career at Rice University in 2006. He served as an EMS Supervisor and officer during his time at Rice. After graduating in 2009 with a degree in mathematics, he remained active with Rice EMS assisting with administrative tasks and later becoming an EMS Instructor. Outside of collegiate EMS, he works as a Staff Analyst with the City of Houston, where he serves as the regional system administrator for a software suite which facilitates the collection, cataloging, and analysis of data on critical infrastructure and public safety. He also works as an In-Charge Paramedic and dispatcher at Harris County Emergency Corps, he volunteers with the Northwest Volunteer Fire Department, and works as an event paramedic at various venues in the Houston area. He received a Master of Science in Threat and Response Management from the University of Chicago in 2011 and holds a Certified Emergency Manager® designation from the International Association of Emergency Managers. Prior to becoming the NCEMSF Webmaster, Ian served as the Central Regional Coordinator for six years.
