Lucas Rappert, the NCEMSF National Coordinator, became involved in collegiate EMS with the University of Wisconsin Madison Police Department First Responders. He served as Crew Chief, Quality Assurance Officer, and Deputy Service Director. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in neurobiology, he continued volunteering with the UWPDFR until he joined Deer Grove EMS, just outside Madison. In addition to EMS, Lucas has experience as a 911 dispatcher, medicolegal investigator, tissue/organ procurement coordinator, and emergency technician. Currently, Lucas is an emergency medicine resident physician at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. His free time is spent staying active outdoors, attending outdoor music events, and exploring the city. He previously served as the North Central Regional Coordinator.
