Ellika Greaves, NCEMSF Canada Regional Coordinator, began her collegiate EMS career with the McMaster University Emergency First Response Team (EFRT) in Hamilton, Ontario, where she served for three years. During her time with EFRT, Ellika led the development of a national framework to enhance trauma-informed care practices in collegiate EMS, aiming to improve responder education and patient support across North America. She is in her final year of a Bachelor of Health Science degree in Biology and Pharmacology at McMaster, and holds certification as an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR). Ellika currently lives in Vancouver, where she works in clinical research in nutrition and healthy aging at the University of British Columbia.
