Nick MelchiorreNick Melchiorre, the NCEMSF Pennsylvania Assistant Regional Coordinator, is the School Safety Coordinator for the Chester County Department of Emergency Services. His responsibilities include acting as the central point of information for all school sectors in response to safety and compliance issues, emergency planning, safety assessments, and daily emergencies. He assists in the development, review, and coordination of safety plans for both regulatory compliance and ability to meet real world needs. Nick is also the chairman of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Regional Task Force’s School workgroup.

Prior to joining the Emergency Management Division, Nick was an Operations Communications Specialist within the 911 Division. The Operations Communications Specialist collects, coordinates, and prioritizes time-sensitive data to provide effective situational awareness and timely, accurate notification of emergency and non-emergency threats and events that impact the citizens, visitors, and employees of Chester County. Nick is an active responder in the county with various Fire and EMS agencies.

Nick studied Health Behavior Science at the University of Delaware where he served many roles at University of Delaware Emergency Care Unit (UDECU) including Operations Coordinator. He is still an active alumni member.
