Margaret Dickey, NCEMSF North Central Assistant Regional Coordinator, began her collegiate EMS career in 2021 with the St. Olaf EMT service. At St. Olaf, she served as the Quality Improvement Officer and conducted research on the treatment of altered mental status patients by collegiate EMS providers. For this project, she was awarded the Collegiate EMS Research Poster of the Year at the NCEMSF Conference in 2023. Since graduating from St. Olaf in 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Margaret has worked in research at the Critical Care Research Center at Regions Hospital in St. Paul where she had the opportunity to combine her interests in EMS, trauma, and quality improvement. Beginning fall 2025, she will be a medical student at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
