Air Travel
Philadelphia International Airport is the city's primary airport. It is located about ten miles from the hotel, and is served by all major air carriers. Learn more about the airport at its website.
From the Airport - Driving
Sheratown Philadelphia Downtown Hotel does not provide shuttle service to and from PHL. Commercial shuttle service providers are available, and are listed on the airport's website (see the section for Center City).
Attendees traveling by air can also utilize a taxi. All taxis operating from PHL should offer a flat rate of $28.50 to the area of the host hotel. Please go to Zone 5 of the Commercial Transportation Roadway to get a taxi.
From the Airport - Public Transit
To get to the host hotel from PHL via mass transit:
- Proceed to the pedestrian walkway between your arrival terminal and the baggage claim area.
- Board the SEPTA Airport Line. Fare is $8 each way - cash only. Trains run every 30 minutes between 5:00am and midnight.
- Exit at Suburban Station (17th St).
- Head north on 17th St for 0.2 miles (17th street is a one-way going south, so walk the opposite direction of the vehicle traffic). The hotel will be on your right.
Automobile
Please see the facility page for links to directions. Parking is availble in the hotel's underground garage for a discounted rate of $20 per day at the hotel for self-park with unlimited in-and-out privileges. The hotel garage has a vertical clearance of 6'3". Parking is also available across the street at the Philadelphia Parking Authority's Gateway Garage, which offers a rate of $5 a day between 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Monday, and has a vertical clearance of 6'10".

Mass Transit and Rail
