REMS was recently recognized at the sixth annual National Collegiate EMS Foundation Conference for its outstanding quality.
REMS received the "Striving for Excellence in Campus EMS Award," which is given to campus-based EMS organizations that have provided excellence in service to their communities for outstanding developments, community outreach programs and quality improvement.
Only seven of the approximately 150 campus-based EMS organizations received the award this year.
Noah Reiter, REMS captain, was awarded the highest honor an individual EMS member can receive--"Campus EMS Provider of the Year." Out of thousands of campus EMS providers, Reiter was chosen due to his contributions in the foundation of the program, as well as his continuing dedication to service and development of the program.
