Harpur's Ferry Takes Delivery of New Ambulance

Harpur's Ferry SVAS at Binghamton University is proud to announce the purchase of their new 2003 Wheeled Coach Type III ambulance. This addition to their fleet was placed in-service on October 29 and will provide Harpur's Ferry with a total of four emergency vehicles, two ambulances and two First Responder Fly Cars. In addition to the new ambulance, Harpur's Ferry has also purchased state of the art equipment, including two LifePak 12 Cardiac Monitor’s with 12-lead capabilities, which have been placed on each ambulance. Harpur's Ferry's over 140 student volunteers would like to thank the Student Association as well as Binghamton University for their help in acquiring this new equipment and ambulance. An official dedication/celebration and alumni reunion for the new ambulance will be scheduled for the spring. Harpur's Ferry looks to continue on its over 30 years of outstanding standard of care to the University students, faculty and surrounding community with this new equipment and second ambulance.
