Student volunteers at Binghamton University are in the Valentine's Day spirit just off campus on the corner of Murray Hill and the Vestal Parkway.

The students are part of the Harpur's Ferry ambulance crew, and will be selling roses until 9 tonight to raise money for their emergency response team. The roses are selling for 15 dollars a dozen, and the squad gets to keep a quarter of the profits, which they hope will help them get some new equipment.

Sarah Markowitz says, "it's going to help us determine the type of medications that are necessary for the patient and determine if the placement of the intubations tube is correct in the lungs."

This is the third, and final day of the flower sale. The volunteers have already sold more than 15-thousand dollars worth of roses in the past 3 days.
