Columbia University EMS puts new rig in service

Columbia University EMS is proud to announce that its new 2003 Ford E350 Horton Type III ambulance went into service on July 18, 2003, concluding a three year acquisition process.

Columbia University EMS' volunteer student membership would like to thank Health Services at Columbia and the Department of Security for their support. An official dedication, alumni reunion, and celebration of the new ambulance is planned for September.

Now running 365 days per year as of this summer, CUEMS looks forward to continuing its high standard of care with two ambulances in service.
